Yoshidai Cherry Blossom Festival

越代のサクラ祭り
The "Yoshidai Cherry Blossom" is a giant wild cherry tree over 400 years old, 20 meters tall, with a trunk circumference of 7.2 meters. Its blooming is somewhat late, reaching full bloom around late April. Designated as a Natural Monument of the Prefecture, it stands alongside other giants like Yakusugi in the Forestry Agency's "100 Giants of the Forest," captivating viewers with its overwhelming charm. Local groups hold stage shows to attract numerous tourists during the peak cherry blossom season.
