The day before the festival, a "Night Procession" featuring officials, golden sticks, senbako, and plush spears will take place. It will start at 7:00 PM from Shirakabe Street and proceed through the town to Tenmangu Shrine.
On the day of the festival, besides the main event "Daimyo Parade", there are plenty of activities. The "Daimyo Parade" departs Tenmangu Shrine at 1:00 PM, showcasing elegant performances of senbako and plush spears in various parts of the city, synchronized with the rhythm of wooden clappers. The parade consisting of 200 people and stretching about 500 meters, is like a reenactment of historical scrolls.
