Mount Hayachine Opening Ceremony

Mount Hayachine opens every year on the second Sunday of June, attracting many climbers from both inside and outside the prefecture. At the summit, there is the Okumiya of Hayachine Shrine, where the Hayachine Kagura dance is dedicated. Please note that there is no parking at the Odagoe trailhead, and roadside parking is not allowed. It takes about 40-50 minutes to walk from the Kogawa trailhead to the Odagoe trailhead.
