The Livestock Improvement Center, Ibaraki Farm Nagano Branch, is a farm primarily focused on research of feed crops and goats. About 50 Somei Yoshino cherry trees bloom within the grounds, attracting many hanami (flower viewing) guests from inside and outside the city.
