Two Azuma Higan cherry trees about 500 years old. Originally destined to sink at the bottom of the lake due to the construction of the Miboro Dam, in 1960 they were transplanted to a hill overlooking the lake thanks to the devotion of cherry blossom lovers. These are unprecedented old cherry trees in the history of transplantation.
