The sandy areas and pine forests within the park create a beautiful landscape of white sand and green pines, with numerous stone monuments including the poetry monument of Takuboku Ishikawa. In mid-April, this seaside pine park facing the Hakkoda Mountain Range will be blanketed with cherry blossoms.
