Cherry Blossoms at Ashino Park
芦野公園の桜
The vast park of about 80 hectares features approximately 1,500 cherry trees and about 1,800 pine trees, with the cherry blossoms being among the best on the Tsugaru Peninsula. The cherry blossom festival held every year from late April to early May attracts large crowds. The park also hosts a literary monument to Osamu Dazai and a bronze statue erected in 2009.
