Kōzen-ji Weeping Cherry Light-Up
光前寺しだれ桜ライトアップ
Kōzen-ji Temple, belonging to the Tendai sect and located on Mount Hōshaku, was founded by Saint Hōsei in the year 860, with Acala as its principal deity. The temple, surrounded by luminous moss and cedar trees hundreds of years old, contains important cultural assets like Bentendō and a three-tiered pagoda. Known as one of the foremost spiritual sites in southern Shinshu, the 'Spring Evening is Worth a Thousand Gold' event will illuminate around 70 ancient weeping cherry trees, providing a mystical experience. Enjoy the ceremony of lights.
