Mikawa Okaeri Festival

美川おかえり祭り
Thirteen gorgeously lacquered festival floats adorned with maki-e, grand lions, and a youth group dressed in traditional attire blowing spirited bugle calls lead the mikoshi procession. This festival, which has a history that dates back to the Edo period, is a traditional event and is designated an intangible cultural property of Ishikawa Prefecture.
