Exhibition “Reborn – Artists Weaving Life”
「Reborn-いのちを織りなすアーティストたち-」展
This exhibition features the theme of "coexistence with nature" and "the path of life," introducing approximately 67 works by 6 contemporary artists.
In Japan, since ancient times, coexistence with nature has been valued, holding a deep reverence for its beauty and power. The change of seasons and the rhythm of nature are deeply rooted in daily life and culture, creating Japan's unique beauty.
This exhibition focuses on this deep relationship with nature, which, though fading in modern times, continues to be cherished in daily life and is integrated into the creative activities of 6 artists who visually present "the path of life."
They sincerely engage with materials such as driftwood, old cardboard, and glue obtained from hunted prey, creating works through continuous dialogue. The works that are born, each with a unique expression, guide us in a common direction.
Through their works, we reconsider our approach to nature. As the sense of crisis regarding environmental destruction and climate change grows, we hope this exhibition will become an opportunity to reflect on our daily lives.
