The 49th Tokamachi Kimono Festival

第49回十日町きものまつり
The 49th Tokamachi Kimono Festival is a must-see event for kimono lovers. Honcho Street, Takata Town, and Station Street will be pedestrian zones, hosting a variety of colorful events. Especially during the "20-Year-Old Gathering," young people dressed in kimono or hakama brighten up the streets with a festive atmosphere. Each area of the venue is filled with events that allow visitors to experience local culture and tradition. Handmade markets, traditional dances, and music performances captivate visitors. You can also enjoy taking photographs against the charming backdrop of the main venue's streetscape. Additionally, limited-time workshops and sales of local specialty products are highlights. You'll find gourmet food that can only be tasted here and original products available for purchase. Visitors are encouraged to rent a kimono and stroll through the town.
