The Flower Offering Festival at Oosaki Shrine is a special event where instructors from the Ikenobo School Utsunomiya Branch create flower arrangements. This festival, centered around the shrine's rare flower offering paintings, is held annually from May 1st to 3rd, with the first day seeing priests offering flowers to the deities. During this period, there is also an ikebana exhibition that anyone can freely view. Of particular note is the free Children's Ikebana Experience Class held on May 3rd, providing a great opportunity for future floral artists to express themselves. The location is Oosaki Shrine in Moka City, Tochigi Prefecture, and it is easily accessible. Enjoy the contrast of the shrine's paintings and real flowers, and take a moment to immerse yourself in the depth of Japanese culture amid tranquility. Visiting with children can be a wonderful experience to foster their creativity. Oosaki Shrine is the perfect place for a family visit.
