The 3rd Ishikawa Mihoso Festival, Uruma City
うるま市 第3回 石川みほそまつり
Located on the east coast of Okinawa Main Island's central part, Uruma City, Ishikawa, will once again host the "Ishikawa Mihoso Festival," where locals take center stage, over two days.
The term "Mihoso" appears in ancient Ryukyu songs and means "middle."
This festival carries a unique name, rooted in the narrow central part of the main island.
Groups and artists connected to the Ishikawa area, along with local students who will shape the future, take to the stage to energize the venue with varied performances centered on traditional arts like Eisa dance and Ryukyu folk songs.
The finale includes a spectacular firework display that lights up the night sky.
Feel the warmth and cultural heartbeat of the region while experiencing the charm of Ishikawa.
