Mifuneyama Rakuen Flower Festival - Azaleas, Wisteria, and Spring Maple
御船山楽園 花まつり - つつじ、大藤、春もみじ
Mifuneyama Rakuen, the first registered Japanese national monument (scenic site) in Saga Prefecture, celebrates its 178th anniversary this year. The garden's 200,000 azalea plants create a carpet of flowers that reach their peak bloom from late April to early May.
Additionally, there are other floral displays such as the estimated 170-year-old wisteria next to Hagino'o Tea House, showcasing a relay of blossoms.
The park also features the Kaji Synergy Restaurant and Hagino'o Tea House. We warmly invite you to visit.
■About Mifuneyama Rakuen
Mifuneyama Rakuen, marking its 178th year, is a magnificent 150,000 tsubo stroll-style garden with a pond, backed by the 210-meter cliffs of Mount Mifune. It was completed in 1845 by Shigenori Nabeshima, a feudal lord of the Edo period, after approximately three years.
