Matsumoto City Museum of Art Collection: The World of Yayoi Kusama's Prints - Repetition and Proliferation -

松本市美術館所蔵 草間彌生 版画の世界―反復と増殖―

The world-renowned avant-garde artist, Yayoi Kusama (1929-present), presents her first large-scale print exhibition.

This exhibition, held at the Matsumoto City Museum of Art in Nagano Prefecture, Yayoi Kusama's hometown, boasts the world's largest Kusama collection. It will showcase approximately 330 print works, including the museum's collection and the artist's private works, highlighting the appeal and trajectory of Kusama's print art.

The exhibition will feature everything from Kusama's first print to her recent masterpiece series "Love is Forever." Enjoy works that encompass a variety of print techniques such as silkscreen, etching, woodblock printing, and glitter.
