In the Ryukyu Folk Song Course (Okinawa Song) offered by Ginza Washita Sanshin Classroom, you can directly learn the techniques of Okinawan traditional songs and pop music from instructors originating from Okinawa. The attraction of this class is that you can also master quick playing techniques essential for celebrations, such as 'Kachaashii'. Participants in this class should be able to play sanshin, read kunkunshi, and tune instruments. The class is held with a small group of 13 people at Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan, conveniently located 1 minute on foot from Yurakucho Station.
