The Sengan Mikoshi procession is a must-see The Torigoe Festival, held at a shrine with a history of over 1,370 years, is highlighted by the procession of the Sengan Mikoshi of Torigoe Shrine, said to be the heaviest in Tokyo, crafted meticulously in the early Showa period. This event draws about 200,000 visitors hoping to catch a glimpse. When the night festival begins, the main shrine mikoshi, surrounded by large paper lanterns, illuminates small lanterns, creating a solemn and fantastical atmosphere. Approximately 250 outdoor stalls also line up for enjoyment.
